RANDOM SAMPLING

A method of data collection where in each individual of the given population has an equal probablity of being selected to participate in a study. It includes means choosing from population through unpredictable means. In other words it is also know as subjects all have an equal chance of being selected out of the population being researched.

Example :- One way to get a random sample of a coolege students at a particluar campus is to put a number next to a each students name on a list, and use a random number generator to choose the subjects.

METHODS
  1. Random numbers
  2. Mathematical algoriths
  3. Physical randomization.

BENEFITS
Random sampling is much faster and often less expensive and as a result is much more effeicent. It is easy for researchers too draw conclusions about large population.

WHEN TO USE RANDOM SAMPLING
When large number of population is their and when we want to find a particluar groups.
